ABOUT THE AUTHOR - OLIVE MOONEY
Olive has always enjoyed writing and told ghost stories to her fellow-inmates at boarding school. Despite her best efforts, they fell asleep! She has improved considerably since those days and The Chronicles of Cadaver College series is her first publication; The Book of Ornis in 2013, The Curse of Halbizia in 2016 and The Pirate Queen’s Treasure in 2019. Olive is currently writing the final two books in the series.
Travelling is one of her great interests. It would take another book to tell all her adventures; from her stay with head-hunters in the Borneo jungle, to getting altitude sickness in Tibet. She will bore anyone who cares to listen! When not travelling or writing, Olive enjoys walking, reading, horse-riding, playing the piano and cooking.
Olive graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1994 with an Honours degree in History and Classical Civilization. She also has a Master’s degree (by research) in Modern History.
She lives in Tipperary, Ireland.
